If you already thought the Tier IX vehicle boasted strong frontal armour, the AMX M4 mle. 54 tops it easily, making it extremely hard to penetrate frontally. Problem is, you still cannot angle it in any way as your sides are as thin as the AMX M4 mle. 51's; side-scraping is still not an option.

The AMX M4 54 has a minimum of 240mm effective on the lfp, with 330 effective ufp. The only weaker bit is the cupolas and weaker effective turret cheeks, but the IS-4 still has the super overmatchable turret anyways. And HEAT will go through that IS-4 in all but the turret cheeks without issue. Hell you can probably have say a T-100 frontally.
